This one got some ‘Best Thai outside Thailand” type comments from the national press, so we went to take a look. Personally, with the exception of the North of Thailand and street food in Bangkok , I think the best Thai  Food is generally found outside the country, but maybe that’s just me.

Took this place in early on a Saturday lunchtime. General first impressions very good. Very friendly and personal greeting and chat from the owner/manager. Decor unique and themed on a monastery, manages to be quirky and relaxing without being cheesy. Here’s a themed placemat
